Product Description

API 16A Well Control Annular BOP Blowout Preventer usually equipped with a large gate with a ram-type blowout preventer, which will forms a sealed annular space between the pipe string and the wellbore during operation. The well closure can be completed alone, but it cannot be used for several times, and long-term well closure is not allowed.

Annular blowout preventer consists of valve body, upper casing, sealing element, dust-proof ring and piston. It provides robust, reliable blowout preventers and easy maintenance for a wide range of offshore (subsea and surface) and onshore operations.

Annular BOPs can seal any size kelly, drill pipe, tool joint, drill collar, casing or wireline. Sphaericals also provide positive pressure control for pulling the drill rod out of the hole.
