Downhole Drill Stem Testing Tools DST Super Safety Valve is a Fail Safe Safety Valve for testing from a land or jack-up rig. It is normally run inside or below the Blow Out Preventer (BOP) and is used to control well flow.
It's a mastervalve for testing from a land or jack-up rig. It is normally run inside orbelow the blowout preventer (BOP) and is used to control well flow. It featuresa 3" ID, 8" OD with 15Kpsi working pressure. This valve has a throughport for chemical injection downhole or to control a subsurface safety valve.It is capable of cutting wireline and coiled tubing using the nitrogen chargeor by application of balance line pressure.
