The Cyclone Separator is the 2nd or the 3rd stage solid control equipment in drilling. According to the cyclone's diameter are classified as Desander and Desilter. The Cyclone Separator that its diameter is more than 6" is called Desander which is the 2nd solid control equipment in drillng. 10" and 12" Cyclone are in common use. The Cyclone separator that its diameter is less than 6" is called Desilter which is the 3rd solid control equipment in drilling. 5" and 4" cyclone are in common use. According to the requirements of processing capacity to select groups of Cyclone Separator and combine them into Desander and Desilter.
