DST Tools Rupture Disk Sampler is a full-bore sampler which operates under annulus pressure in cased wells. It is mainly used to obtain formation fluid samples under downhole pressure during full-bore drill stem testing operation. Before and after sampling, the strings are kept in the full-bore state, which will not affect the subsequent operations.RD sampler is controlled by a rapture disk that is operated by annulus pressure.
Time-delay feature allows the sample to be trapped after a preset time.
Different metering cartridge can be used to vary the closing time.
Full-open capabilities are retained after the tool has trapped its sample.
Several samplers can be run on a test to allow sampling at different times.
