Formation testing, or drill stem testing, it's a temporary completion of a well that provides information whether the well is completed or not, which can directly obtain data of formation fluid samples, liquid properties, productivity, formation temperature and time pressure. BOBAN designs and manufactures both MFE and fullbore APR Dirll Stem Testing Tools.

The Multi Flow Evaluator(MFE) test tool is a conventional test tool, which realizes wellbore bottom switch by running and pulling toolstring. It can be used for formation testing of cased-hole and open-hole wells. A typical MFE toolsrtring is composed of hydraulic locking joint, open hole by-pass valve, hydraulic jar, safety joint, safety seal and packer, etc. It has the characteristics of . The Annulus Pressure Response(APR) test tool is suitable for well testing like offshore pontoons, jack-up rigs, fixed platforms or onshore highly deviated wells. This type of tool is suitable for usage in casing. When the test string is stable, the pressure of the annular space controls the test valve to realize multiple opening and closing of the wellbore. BOBAN designs and manufactures 3 7/8" and 5" full bore APR test tools for 5", 5 1/2", 7" and 9 5/8" cased-hole string and formation testing. A typical APR toolstring is composed of circulating valve, drain valve, test valve, hydraulic jar, safety joint, packer, etc BOBAN APR test tools can work in conjunction with the TCP(tubing conveyed perforating) gun, so that the string formation test and perforation operation can be completed at the same time, and also it can be used Together with TCP to complete acidizing, fracturing, production testing and other comprehensive well testing peration.
